Joe White is a 30 year veteran of the trucking industry, has a MBA and is owner of CostDown Consulting, a consultancy that provides trucking executives analysis, programs and training that reduce operating costs. One of CostDown Consulting's services is managing the SmartWay Partner Annual Fleet Model requirements for their clients. Through that service, Joe recognized a growing industry demand for carbon audits, carbon reporting and the ability to ship freight on a Carbon Neutral basis. He founded GreenWay Miles to meet those demands.

Jayme is an experienced sustainability professional, with expertise in research, teaching, and consulting on the topics of carbon accounting, climate policy, and business responses to climate change. Her present position is with the Sustainability Studies Program at the University of Texas, where she teaches courses on Sustainable Development and Measuring Sustainability. Jayme holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of British Colombia.
